South Florida Trombone Workshop 2026

Welcome to the 2026 South Florida Trombone Workshop taking place this July 13-16 2026 from 1pm until 5pm at The Shepard & Ruth K. Broad Performing Arts Center (11300 NE 2nd Ave., Miami Shores, FL 33161) for all levels of trombone players beginning from 7th grade to professionals.

We offer a one-week immersive program with the following levels:

Professional Level: Tailored for seasoned trombonists seeking to refine their artistry and expand their professional networks.
College Level: Designed for college trombonists honing skills in diverse repertoire, preparing for auditions and recitals.
High School Level: Crafted for high school trombonists building technique and confidence through dynamic ensemble work and performance. Learn More

Classical Trombone Choir:
Record yourself playing a solo & ensemble piece or etude you feel comfortable with. This can be a cappella or with accompaniment.

Jazz Trombone Ensemble:
- Record a short video playing the melody of any jazz standard or (optional) record yourself improvising over a jazz standard or a blues. Feel free to use an accompaniment track if you have one available.

- Be sure to include a working email and address so we can send out parts and communicate details after you are registered.

These videos will help us place you and send you the proper part for you to work on for the ensembles this summer.
